About Me
I am an education-focused academic with thirteen years of experience teaching in higher education. My specific interests and experience in teaching and research around criticality and HE for more equitable societies. I value university education as a public good that is not separate from the ‘real-world’. I specialise in practitioner-research and developing reflexivity and critical consciousness. My work with students has always been a mentor relationship, with special care towards guiding students in pursuing their interests and develop the skills needed to achieve their goals.
